Preparation & Serving Instructions

Cook times are for frozen meals. Times may vary by slow cooker/pressure cooker. Ensure all food reaches 165°F (74°C) before serving. If cooking a thawed meal, use the shorter cooking time listed as a guideline.

Serve: Serve over brown rice, quinoa, ramen, or cauliflower rice.

Stovetop

Cook from frozen in medium saucepan over medium heat. Break up the meat as it thaws and cooks. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook for 25-30 minutes. Can add additional water (up to 1/2 cup) if needed.

Pressure Cooker

Cook for 20-25 minutes on manual, or to internal temperature of 160F, natural pressure release. May add up to 1/4 cup liquid before cooking to bring up to pressure. Add 1/2 10 oz package of broccoli and switch to saute setting. Stir every 1-2 minutes until broccoli is cooked through. Mix 1/2 Tbsp cold water and 1/2 Tbsp cornstarch and add to sauce to thicken.

Slow Cooker

Using a 1.5-2 quart slow cooker, cook on low 4-6 hours or to an internal temperature of 160° F. Add broccoli with 45-60 minutes left. To thicken, mix ½ Tbsp cornstarch and ½ Tbsp water and add to sauce.

Seasoning

For stronger flavors, add 30-60 minutes before serving:

Garlic | ¾ Tbsp

Ground Ginger | ⅛ tsp

Salt and pepper, to taste

Cook on low 4-6 hours, or to internal temperature of 160° F. Add 10 oz package of broccoli with 45-60 minutes left. To thicken, mix 1 Tbsp cold water and 1 Tbsp cornstarch and add to sauce.

Pressure Cooker

Cook on manual for 30 minutes, or to internal temperature of 160° F. Natural pressure release. May add ¼ cup liquid before cooking to bring up to pressure. After cooking, add 10 oz package of broccoli and switch pressure cooker to sauté. Stir every 1-2 minutes until broccoli is cooked through. To thicken, mix 1 Tbsp cold water and 1 Tbsp cornstarch.

Seasoning

For stronger flavors, add 30-60 minutes before serving:

Garlic | ½ Tbsp

Ground Ginger | ¼ tsp

Salt and pepper, to taste
