Preparation & Serving Instructions

Cook times are for frozen meals. Times may vary by slow cooker/pressure cooker. Ensure all food reaches 165°F (74°C) before serving. If cooking a thawed meal, use the shorter cooking time listed as a guideline.

Cook: Follow the cooking instructions below. If meal was prepared prior to November 1, do not add additional water.

Serve: Shred or slice meat to top sandwiches. Add provolone cheese. Use remaining liquids as Au Jus dip.

Alternative Serving Instructions:

Serve over ciabatta bread with provolone cheese. For a low carb option, serve with cabbage cups or lettuce wraps. Sauté onions and peppers and serve as sliders topped with provolone cheese.

Low Carb Serving Option:

Serve as lettuce wraps or with lower carb bread options.

Small

Meals feed 2-3

Oven

Thaw meal in refrigerator overnight. When thawed, place in oven proof baking dish, add 1 cup of water, cover and bake at 325F for 2 1/2- 3 hours or until beef is tender and shreds easily (or to an internal temperature of 165 F).

Pressure Cooker

Add 1 cup of water. Cook on manual for 45 minutes, or to an internal temperature of 160 F, natural pressure release. May add 1/4 cup liquid before cooking to bring up to pressure.

Slow Cooker

Add 1 cup of water. Using a 1.5-2 quart slow cooker, cook on low 6-8 hours or to an internal temperature of 160° F.

Seasoning

For stronger flavors, add 30-60 minutes before serving:

Garlic | ¼ tsp

Onion Powder | ¼ tsp

Oregano | ⅛ tsp

Medium

Meals feed 4-6

Slow Cooker

Add 2 cups of water. Cook on low 6-8 hours, or to an internal temperature of 160° F.

Pressure Cooker

Add 2 cups of water. Cook on manual for 60 minutes, or to an internal temperature of 160° F. Natural pressure release. May add ¼ cup liquid before cooking to bring to pressure.

Seasoning

For stronger flavors, add 30-60 minutes before serving:
