Stovetop
Cook from frozen in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add 1 cup of water and break up as it thaws and cooks. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook for 25-30 minutes. Add 1/2 bag of tortellini and allow to simmer for 10-15 more minutes. *If you prefer a more brothy soup, instead add 1.5 cups of water and 1/2 tsp bouillon before cooking.
Pressure Cooker
Add 1 cup of water and cook on manual for 10 minutes, quick pressure release. Switch to sauté and add 1/2 bag of frozen tortellini. Boil for about 5 minutes, stirring often. *If you prefer a more brothy soup, instead add 1.5 cups of water and 1/2 tsp bouillon before cooking.
Slow Cooker
Add 1 cup of water and using a 1.5-2 quart slow cooker, cook on low 3-4 hours. Add 1/2 bag of tortellini and allow to simmer for 10-15 more minutes. *If you prefer a more brothy soup, instead add 1.5 cups of water and 1/2 tsp bouillon before cooking.
Seasoning
For stronger flavors, add 30-60 minutes before serving:
