Included Ingredients

Broth, cheese, mushrooms, carrot, peas, onion, salt, broccoli florets, seasonings.

Groceries Needed

  • Pasta of choice
  • Low fat cream cheese
  • Parmesan cheese (optional)

Optional Additions

  • Garlic (for stronger flavor)
  • Tarragon (for stronger flavor)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil (for stronger flavor)
  • Balsamic vinegar (for stronger flavor)

Preparation & Serving Instructions

Cook times are for frozen meals. Times may vary by slow cooker/pressure cooker. Ensure all food reaches 165°F (74°C) before serving. If cooking a thawed meal, use the shorter cooking time listed as a guideline.

Serve: Serve over pasta of choice and top with parmesan cheese, fresh basil, or balsamic vinegar.

Low Carb Serving Option:

Serve over zoodles or whole wheat pasta.

Small

Meals feed 2-3

Stovetop

Cook from frozen in medium saucepan over medium heat. Can add up to 1/2 cup water. Break up as it thaws and cooks. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook for 25-30 minutes. Add ¼ 10 oz bag of broccoli with 5-10 minutes left. Add 2 oz cream cheese and parmesan cheese and stir until melted.

Pressure Cooker

*Recommended cook method for best results! Cook on manual for 5 minutes, quick pressure release. May add 1/4 cup liquid before cooking to bring up to pressure. Switch to sauté setting, add 1/4 ~10 oz bag of broccoli and cook for 3-5 minutes. Add 2 oz cream cheese and parmesan cheese and stir until melted.

Slow Cooker

Using a 1.5-2 quart slow cooker, cook on low 2-3 hours. until heated through and vegetables are cooked. Add 1/4 10 oz bag of broccoli with 20-30 minutes left. Add 2 oz cream cheese and parmesan cheese and stir until melted.

Seasoning

For stronger flavors, add 30-60 minutes before serving:

Garlic | ½ tsp

Tarragon | ½ tsp

Salt and pepper, to taste

Medium

Meals feed 4-6

Slow Cooker

Cook on low 2-3 hours until heated through and vegetables are cooked. Add half 10 oz bag of broccoli with 20-30 minutes left. Add 4 oz cream cheese and parmesan cheese and stir until melted.

Pressure Cooker

Add half a 10 oz bag of frozen broccoli, 4 oz cream cheese, and parmesan cheese. Stir until broccoli is cooked through and cheese melted.

Stovetop

Thaw meal and sauté on stovetop until vegetables are tender. Add 4 oz cream cheese and parmesan cheese and stir until melted. Combine ⅛ cup flour with 1 ½ Tbsp water and add to sauce. Stir until thickened.

Seasoning

For stronger flavors, add 30-60 minutes before serving:

Garlic | 1 tsp

Tarragon | 1 tsp

Salt and pepper, to taste
