Dinner on the table for women in breast cancer treatment
Since 2023, Citrus Pear has partnered with PINK SYNC, a Utah nonprofit supporting women in and beyond breast cancer treatment, to deliver free freezer meals to families navigating active treatment. Every Citrus Pear purchase helps fund those rescue meals.

About PINK SYNC
Many organizations raise money for breast cancer research or awareness. PINK SYNC supports the women and families going through it right now. Founded in 2023 by breast cancer survivors, PINK SYNC creates welcoming spaces where women can connect with peers, learn from trusted experts, and find practical resources that make treatment and recovery easier to navigate.
That support takes three forms: free community events (education days, fitness classes, family gatherings, and small-group conversations led by qualified professionals), a resource hub of trusted local experts, and Kitchen SYNC Rescue Meals, the program Citrus Pear is proud to be part of.
Kitchen SYNC Rescue Meals
When someone is in active treatment, dinner shouldn't be another thing she has to fight. Appetite, energy, and time all take a hit, but the family still needs to eat, and it still needs to be healthy. A ready-to-heat meal that takes care of shopping, prep, and cleanup is one less decision on a hard day.
Here is how the program works:
- Women in active breast cancer treatment apply for rescue meals at pinksync.org. PINK SYNC gives priority to women with children at home and women without family nearby to help.
- PINK SYNC funds the meals for each recipient family through donations and sponsorships.
- Citrus Pear prepares and delivers the meals, provided to PINK SYNC at our nonprofit partner discount rate so every donated dollar goes further.
- Each family receives a box of 10 Citrus Pear freezer meals, made to the Citrus Pear Standard and ready to cook straight from frozen, most in a slow cooker or Instant Pot.
In the most recent program year, PINK SYNC and Citrus Pear delivered 380 rescue meals to 38 families across Utah.
